Unlike with typical production Contract Manufacturing (CM) firms, ACDi also assigns the following positions to support its New Product Introduction (NPI) team:
Prototype Program Manager (PPM): |
Manages NPI processes from requests for quotes to works in progress. A PPM is solely dedicated to prototypes. |

Buyer/Planner Specialist: |
Assigned to the NPI team to handle material acquisitions and to expedite materials to dock in time for builds. |

Receiving/Incoming Specialist (RIS): |
Responsible to receive and prioritize all materials for builds ahead of receiving production materials. |

Stock/Kit Specialist: |
Responsible to create and deliver material kits to the NPI shop prior to the receipt of bare boards. |

Prototype Production Engineer (PPE): |
Supervises builds through the NPI shop. |
