ACDi has expanded departments in their Maryland and North Carolina locations. Some expansions included the direct sales and marketing groups and the project management and quoting departments. We would like to introduce you to the newest members of our team.
Karen Gonzalez has been named Director of Business Development and will be located in Tampa, FL. Karen has 25 years of management and sales experience in electronics and technology industries. She has worked with various companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to medium and small start-ups. Her territories have spanned the globe including North America, Asia, and a sponsorship in Sydney Australia. Applications have been in medical, electrical electronics, automotive, consumer, utilities, government agencies, as well as communications and IT environments. She has a history of great rapport and credibility within the organizations where she has worked.. Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Bay State College.
Bill Lingis, also a Director of Business Development will be located in New Stanton. Bill’s 25 years of sales experience includes over 5 years in the electrical contact industry as well as an additional 6 ½ years in electronics contract manufacturing. He has a history of working with companies in a variety of electrical applications, including: circuit breakers, transfer switches, appliances, switches, automotive electronics, lighting, medical devices, industrial controls, analytical equipment, aviation electronics, rail systems, communications and government programs. He has a history of developing strong relationships through his dedicated commitment to customer satisfaction and ensuring the development of long-term win/win partnerships. Bill graduated from Grove City College with a B.S. in Chemistry.
Our new VP of Marketing is Janice Gibson. Janice was last with an IT security solutions provider and contract manufacturer for 8 ½ years where she led the marketing department. In that role she was responsible for message development, brand awareness, public relations, lead generation, events, digital marketing, advertising, and collateral development. Prior to that she was with a public supply chain management firm for 10 years where she was in charge of all marketing communications efforts. Janice has a BA in Communication and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Pierre Lestaevel joined our IT department as a Helpdesk Technician to ensure our everyday operations and document management systems run smoothly. He has been in the IT field for 8 years and was a Senior Helpdesk Technician for 4 ½ years supporting 300+ users before coming to ACDi. His experiences included Microsoft servers, desktop and laptop repair, AD/Exchange/SCCM, Microsoft Office, remote desktop support, Mac OSx, Microsoft OS, network installation, systems installation, printers, Microsoft Lync as well as many others. Pierre has proven ability to act on his own initiative, establish effective relationships with vendors, and getting issues resolved in a timely manner. He holds an Associate Degree in Information Technology and Networks from American Career institute and a Bachelor’s of Applied Science Information Technology from Kaplan.
Sophie Xiong has joined ACDi as a Project Manager located in our Nashville, NC facility. Sophie has 15+ years of experience in global organizations, including 5 years working for a leading international electronics contract manufacturer. She has been involved with applications ranging in scope from consumer and sophisticated RF to more critical (medical, aerospace) systems. Before moving to the United States nearly a decade ago, she worked in administration and procurement for companies in China and Australia giving her excellent cross-cultural experience. Sophie has a history of great attention to detail and developing strong relationships with her customers through dedication, commitment, and professional knowledge.
