Giving back to the community is a hallmark of ACDi and of its owner, Bill Hornbaker. ACDi has supported local and national causes because, quite simply, our people want to help. In addition to our featured fundraisers detailed below, ACDi has raised monies for victims of natural disasters, stocked food banks, as well as donated clothing and toys to local organizations in need. ACDi has sponsored local families in need for Christmas and other families who have suffered from tragedies. Sometimes our giving is led by Bill, our owner, like the time he donated 40 turkey dinners to the local food banks during Thanksgiving and sparked an impromptu food drive event. Other activities are initiated by our employees and often contributions are matched by the company. “It is a blessing to work for a company with such a commitment to supporting the community and people in need.” Meghan Defibaugh, HR Manager

Frederick Rescue Mission/Faith House
We are a Christ-centered ministry providing residential recovery programs to the homeless or chemically addicted, food to the hungry, clothing and furniture to the needy and connection within our community through relationships. At the Mission, every program and service is driven by the desire to introduce people to Jesus Christ. Our method to this end is to meet basic human needs and equip others to do the same. The Mission is privately funded, utilizing donations from our community to operate all of our programs and services.
Faith House provides a loving, Christ-centered place for homeless women and children in Frederick as they embark on a 90-day journey to discover their purpose and to find healing and hope. The program will meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs while promoting self-sufficiency.
My Sister’s House
My Sister’s House’s Mission is “to provide effective, comprehensive, inclusive and holistic services for women, children and men who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, support and education, believing that everyone deserves a violence-free life. ACDi held its 2nd golf fundraising event for this great organization in May 2014 and we’re proud to say we have raised over $13,000 to date!
We are excited with the response this fundraiser received, and look forward to reaching new goals with this annual ACDi event!
